Common Inquiries
Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers to help you feel informed and confident about starting care.
What happens at the first appointment?
Your first appointment is a full session. It is an unhurried, collaborative conversation about what brings you to therapy, what you have already tried, and what you are hoping for — and a chance to see whether the fit feels right before going further.
Do you accept health insurance directly?
Yes. We accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Capital Blue Cross, Highmark, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Optum Health, and Geisinger Health Plan. Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend contacting your insurer to confirm your behavioral-health benefits, copay and deductible before your first appointment.
Do you offer in-person sessions or telehealth?
Both options are available. In-person therapy takes place at our East Stroudsburg office (528 Seven Bridge Road, STE 132) or our Allentown office (1275 Glenlivet Drive, Suite 100). Telehealth sessions are conducted via an encrypted, HIPAA-compliant video platform for clients located in Pennsylvania.
